<h1><strong>Media Researcher</strong></h1> <h2><strong>About the Position</strong></h2> <p>We are seeking a highly motivated Media Researcher to join our embassy team. The successful candidate will research and analyze media developments, providing insights and analysis to support diplomatic reporting and strategic communication.</p> <h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2> <ul><li> <p>Research, and analyze domestic and regional media coverage across traditional, broadcast, and digital platforms.</p> </li><li> <p>Assess media narratives, framing, and discourse related to political developments, governance, foreign policy, and public affairs.</p> </li><li> <p>Produce analytical reports, briefings, and situational updates for embassy leadership.</p> </li><li> <p>Track key media including journalists, editors, opinion leaders, and influential digital platforms.</p> </li></ul> <h2><strong>Qualifications and</strong> Requirements:</h2> <ul><li> <p>Relevant university degree in Journalism, Media and Communication, or a related field.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical and research skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian and Arabic. Additional language skills are an advantage.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in media analysis, journalism, research, or related fields is an advantage.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of digital media landscapes and information trends.</p> </li><li> <p>Norwegian citizenship or Permanent residency in Norway.</p> </li></ul> <h2><strong>Application Process</strong></h2> <p>Applications will be accepted until 20 September 2026.
