<h1><strong>Political Specialist</strong></h1> <h2><strong>About the Position</strong></h2> <p>We are seeking a highly motivated Political Specialist to join our embassy team. The successful candidate will provide political analysis to support diplomatic strategy, and contribute to the embassy's understanding of the political landscape in the host country.</p> <h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2> <ul><li> <p>Analyze political, economic, and social affairs.</p> </li><li> <p>Produce reports, briefings, and assessments for embassy leadership.</p> </li><li> <p>Contribute to strategic planning and policy recommendations</p> </li></ul> <h2><strong>Qualifications and</strong> Requirements:</h2> <ul><li> <p>Relevant university degree in Political Science, International Relations, or a related field.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical and research skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Norwegian and Arabic. Additional language skills are an advantage.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in government, diplomacy, international organizations, research, or related fields is an advantage</p> </li><li> <p>Norwegian citizenship or Permanent residency in Norway.</p> </li></ul> <h2><strong>Application Process</strong></h2> <p>Applications will be accepted until 20 September 2026.
