Our mission is to blend the raw magic of a remote lighthouse with an exceptional, intimate dining experience that tells the story of our coast.</p> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a Lead Chef for the summer season who views the kitchen as a stage and local ingredients as their medium. You will be the architect of our culinary identity, crafting high-quality menus that celebrate the sea and the island. This isn't a high-volume assembly line—it is a role for a creative professional who thrives on detail, excels in a unique "island life" setting, and wants to leave a lasting impression on a maximum of 10 guests per night.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul><li>Curate & Execute: Design and deliver daily menus inspired by modern Nordic and coastal traditions. Artisanal Sourcing: Identify and utilize the finest local ingredients, from hand-dived scallops to island-foraged herbs.</li><li>Quality Control: Maintain impeccable standards of food styling, flavor balance, and hygiene.</li><li>Seamless Integration: Work closely with a small, dedicated lighthouse team to provide a flawless "house-guest" atmosphere.</li><li>Kitchen Management: Maintain a pristine, organized, and efficient kitchen space at all times.<strong>Qualifications:</strong></li><li>Proven Mastery: Minimum 3 years in high-end or fine-dining environments (5+ years total chef experience).</li><li>Nordic Expertise: A deep understanding of—and passion for—coastal ingredients and Nordic techniques.</li><li>Autonomy: The ability to work independently in a remote location while maintaining high-energy standards.</li><li>Legal Standing: Must currently hold the legal right to work in Norway/EU.
