Whether within culinary arts, service or front desk operations, you will gain hands-on experience in a extraordinary environment where quality, craftsmanship and genuine guest experiences are at the heart of everything we do.</p><br /> <h3>Arbeidsoppgaver</h3><p>As an apprentice at Ytri, you will become an important part of our daily operations and gain hands-on experience in a professional and ambitious hospitality environment. Depending on your apprenticeship path, your responsibilities may include:</p><p><strong>Culinary (Kitchen)</strong><br /><br />- Assisting in the preparation and presentation of high-quality food experiences <br /><br />- Learning modern cooking techniques, ingredient handling and kitchen operations <br /><br />- Supporting daily mise en place and maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety <br /><br />- Contributing to exceptional guest dining experiences in close collaboration with the kitchen team</p><p><strong>Service (Front of House)</strong><br /><br />- Delivering professional, warm and attentive service to guests <br /><br />- Assisting with restaurant operations, table service and guest hosting <br /><br />- Learning about food and beverage presentation, service standards and guest communication</p><p>- Helping create memorable dining experiences in a high-quality hospitality setting</p><p><strong>Front Desk / Reception</strong><br /><br />- Welcoming and assisting guests throughout their stay <br /><br />- Supporting check-in, check-out and reservation handling <br /><br />- Providing information about Ytri, Træna and local experiences <br /><br />- Helping ensure a seamless and exceptional guest journey from arrival to departure</p><p><strong>Across all departments, you will</strong><br /><br />- Work closely with experienced colleagues and hospitality professionals <br /><br />- Learn how to deliver exceptional guest experiences with attention to detail <br /><br />- Contribute to a positive, professional and collaborative team environment <br /><br />- Develop valuable skills in an inspiring and unique workplace at the edge of the Norwegian coast</p><p> </p><p> </p><h3>Kvalifikasjoner</h3>We are looking for motivated and curious apprentices who are passionate about hospitality and eager to learn in a professional and inspiring environment.<br />We believe you are someone who:<br /><br />Has a genuine interest in culinary arts, hospitality, service or guest experiences <br /><br />- Is motivated to learn and develop professionally <br /><br />- Takes pride in delivering quality and paying attention to detail <br /><br />- Has a positive attitude and enjoys working with people <br /><br />- Is reliable, responsible and able to work as part of a team <br /><br />- Thrives in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same <br /><br />- Is excited by the opportunity to live and work in a unique island community<h3>Personlige egenskaper</h3><p>Personal qualities matter as much as experience.
